People are going to point fingers every direction as they try and figure out exactly what went wrong for the Democratic party. But Biden’s refusal to step down and allow a real competitive party primary in January of this year hamstrung the Democratic party’s chance at winning this election. Dems could have had a nominee that had the better part of a year to build a relationship with the American voter, and instead they got one who was anointed with three months to go without a single vote being cast.
