Washington – The Forward Party is excited to announce that Representative Don Davis of North Carolina’s 1st district has signed our candidate pledge. Rep. Davis is known for his bipartisan leadership, his dedication to pragmatic problem solving, and his commitment to community-driven solutions. He is an excellent example of the kind of leadership the Forward Party is cultivating across the country.
A veteran of the Air Force, Rep. Davis is a member of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus and has been ranked a top bipartisan legislator by outside good government groups. A lifelong North Carolinian, Rep. Davis has delivered for his constituents, especially those in rural areas. He has worked to expand access to high-speed internet, improve teacher quality, provide economic security to veterans, and secure over $200M to expand access to quality health care.
